Mrs Claire Hill

Director of Nursing

Claire has been a Registered nurse for over 20 years, having completed her Bachelor of Nursing and Public Health Double degree at Latrobe University, Bendigo in 2003.

She started her career in Bendigo gaining experience in Regional Hospitals across Victoria before settling in Ballarat with her husband and two children.

Claire has extensive acute and community nursing experience, and most recently as a Quality Partner at Grampian’s health, conducting audits and reporting.

As the Director of Nursing, Claire is responsible for the the clinical and operational functioning of the Ballarat Surgicentre. Her primary role is to ensure that the Ballarat Surgicentre is managed according to current standards and meets all statutory requirements.

Claire is enthusiastic and passionate about health promotion, wound care and providing the highest level of care to consumers at the Ballarat Surgicentre.

Claire enjoys and is looking forward to leading a great clinical team in a safe, supportive and friendly work environment.
