Dr Raymond Cocciolone

Dr Raymond Cocciolone is an independent doctor who is currently hiring  the Ballarat Surgicentre facilities and services to treat his patients. 

Dr Raymond Cocciolone completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Tasmania, graduating with First Class Honours.

He completed his Dermatology Fellowship in 2011 after completing specialist training in New South Wales at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Skin and Cancer Foundation Darlinghurst, The Royal Newcastle Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Dr Raymond Cocciolone has worked as a consultant dermatologist at several private practices in NSW including Sky Blue Dermatology, Dubbo Dermatology and at Fairfield Dermatology in Melbourne.

He is a member of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the American Society of MOHs Surgeons. He is an Australasian College of Dermatologists approved Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and has also successfully completed the American Society for MOHs Surgery (ASMS) Fellowship entrance examination in San Diego.

Dr Cocciolone has published articles in international dermatology, surgical and scientific journals. He has spoken at national dermatology and scientific conferences and has presented lectures to medical, nursing and biomedical science undergraduates. He also holds a first class honours degree in Applied Medical Laboratory Science.

Ray’s interests include rural dermatology, skin cancer and dermatological surgery.
